Role & responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Provide financial insights for investment decisions and business expansion.
  • Accounting & Reporting
  • Ensure accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Drive timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
  • Maintain internal controls, policies, and audit compliance.
  • Cost Control & Manufacturing Finance
  • Monitor costing of raw materials, production, and finished goods.
  • Implement cost optimization measures to enhance margins.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Companies Act).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee corporate governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Treasury & Cash Flow Management
  • Manage working capital, credit control, and fund requirements.
  • Optimize cash flows for smooth operations.
  • Build relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Business Partnering & Leadership
  • Partner with other functional heads (Production, Sales, HR, Supply Chain).
  • Support business decision-making with financial insights.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance & accounts team.

Preferred candidate profile

Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (CMA).

  • Preferred: MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, costing, and MIS reporting.

  • Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems, MS Excel, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent understanding of taxation (GST, Income Tax, Customs, Excise).
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle investor, banker, and auditor relations.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
