Administering the environment so as to meet the day to day demand in an efficient cost effective manner. Support projects as required to meet IT objectives while managing available time based on priorities. Provide reports and metrics as needed to support operations requirements analysis and growth planning. - 1.Highly Technical Skilled in VMWare Administration ESX ESXi 5.5/6.0/6.5/7/8.0 (vSphere) 2.Working experience with vSphere systems for Implementation Administration Documentation for VMware technology and support including vMotion HA DRS VDS Affinity rules VCenter Storage migrations P2V migrations 3.Should be VCP certified. 4.Provide VMware support 24X7 including incident and work requests within the virtualization infrastructure spanning multiple data centers across multiple VMWare ESX/Nutanix environments. 5.Working experience in optimizing VMware for utilization of SAN storage vSphere Thin Provisioning Resource Pools Host Profiles and EMC plug-ins 6.Experience working with enterprise level network & storage networking (FC SAN iSCSI 10Gb etc.) 7.Creation migration cloning snapshots backup recovery and troubleshooting of Virtual machines. 8.Experience in P2V vMotion and VMware virtual center. 9.Good understanding of HA and DRS environment. 10.Knowledge of core internet protocols. SMTP DNS FTP HTTP HTTPS 11.System Maintenance and UpgradesApply patches upgrades and security updates to VMware infrastructure components. Perform regular system maintenance tasks including health checks performance tuning and troubleshooting. 12.Ability to create and maintain excellent documentation is a must. 13.Good hands-on exp on virtual centre and knowledge of managing Virtual centre database. 14.Creating templates VM deployments and configuration. Assigning. 15.Attaching releasing LUNS from ESX hosts. 16.Working knowledge of ESX and Virtual center servers patching 17.Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment. 18.Taking snapshots and restoring snapshots of VMS 19.Prior experience with or knowledge of the ITIL Framework.
