Job Description Job Title - Windows AD and VMware professional Location: Noida Chennai Bengaluru Pune Mumbai Experience Required - 12-15 years ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational Performs necessary checks apply monitoring tools and respond to alerts Identifies problems and errors prior to or when it occurs and log all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail Assists in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls Investigates third line support calls assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems Reports and escalates issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary Installation Troubleshooting and configuration of Windows or Linux based operating systems & Patch management. Managing data backup and recovery Configure and Troubleshooting of TCP-IP settings and connectivity problems for client computers and add them to domain. Exposure in Active Directory user creation and deletion AD Domain controller migration 2008 to 2019. Managing Active Directory and Group Policies. Active Directory implementation and Administration. Active Directory Backup and Restoration. Experienced in DCPROMO process and configuring OU structure, Global Catalog server, directory services. DNS administrations and troubleshooting skill Working on Active Directory replication, GPOs and FSMO roles. Creating new group policies as per the Customer request ADFS administration and management DFS management and troubleshooting skill Provide systematic RCA and problem management for P1 and reoccurring issues PowerShell knowledge at intermediate/advance level PS Automation skill and any hands-on experience on real time project VMWare: Work experience on VMware ESXi 5X, 6X and 7 environment. Installation and Configuration of VMware ESXi host and vCenter Virtualization project SOW preparation. Execution of project Find RCA and solution for repeated and escalated issues Managing and troubleshooting HA and DRS environment Managing and troubleshooting on VMware vMotion Storage vMotion High Availability DRS Deploy virtual machines use clones snapshots templates Managing and troubleshooting standard switch and distributed virtual switch Managing Virtual Machine Snapshots Troubleshooting with the help of VMware Logs and vCenter logs Troubleshooting on VMware performance issue with commands Troubleshooting experience on vCenter performance counter HyperV: Excellent knowledge of Hyper-V and System center Installation and Configuring Virtual Machines for Server Consolidation and HA Managing and troubleshooting Hyper V cluster issues Managing and troubleshooting on Hyper-V Replication Create VM s V-disk s and install guest OS Configure and Manage Virtual Networks Managing Virtual Machine Snapshots Troubleshooting complex Hyper V production issues Configuring and managing virtualization hosts, networking, and storage resources. Maintain and manage Windows Server 2003 2008 R2 2012 R2 2016 2019 infrastructure including high-availability Experience automating tasks with scripting and programming languages such as PowerShell
