About your team

ISS Delivery provides the design and delivery of all changes in business process and/or technology solutions that support the growth for Fidelity's Global Investment Solutions & Services business. We support Investment Management, Asset Management Operations and Distribution teams primarily located in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Toronto, Australia, Singapore, and China.

About your role
 

Global Fund Administration System (GFAS) is a transfer agency system that is used largely for setting up and maintenance of shareholder records,  pricing, deal settlement, income distribution, reconciliation processing etc. and provides clients holdings and transactions to different systems and applications.

This role is for a transfer agency expert responsible for technical analysis & delivery of changes within the in-house processes and third party integrations ensuring accurate dealing instructions, payments and reconciliation processes are working perfectly and act as a bridge between business stakeholders and GFAS technical team.

About you

With a solid background in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex investment management technology solutions, you're the specialist we need. You:

• Preferably have 12+ years of experience in investment management technology specifically around transfer agencies and third-party platforms.
• Demonstrate very good understanding and detailed working knowledge of capital market processes, upstream & downstream activities
• Perform Technical Analysis of Financial & Non-Financial transactions through GFAS, other transfer agencies and third-party platforms as per business requirement
• Manage multiple software projects across different channels and multiple transfer agents, overseeing the complete lifecycle from specification until deployment.
• Prepare professional Business Analysis documentation to capture user requirements & acceptance criteria
• Define and build test strategies with the business stakeholders and build test cases where required.
• Work collaboratively in an agile approach with solution architects,  designers, product owners and the delivery teams to ensure that solutions address the requirements of the business.
• Assist the project manager in sprint activities such as sprint planning, estimation sessions and running daily calls.
• Communicate complex ideas to technical & non-technical audiences effectively.
• Provide trusted advice to stakeholders by building relationships across the portfolios.
• Maintain data dictionaries and catalogues to ensure good data quality in all deliverables.
• Have Strong SQL query writing skills, including complex SQL queries, joins, CTEs and can-do in-depth data analysis.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and skilled in the use of Jira and Confluence.
• Possess sound problem-solving and team-building skills.
