We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track key quality metrics such as defect rates, scrap rates, and rework costs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Participate in supplier quality management activities, including supplier audits and evaluations.
  • Provide training and support to production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred.
  • Certification as a Quality Engineer (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
