Job Description – Primary Head/Primary Coordinate

We are hiring Primary Head /Primary Coordinate in Adithya Global School (CBSE).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic & Lesson Planning

  • Oversee curriculum planning and ensure alignment with school/board standards.
  • Review and approve lesson plans prepared by teachers.
  • Guide teachers in preparing age-appropriate, innovative, and activity-based lessons.
  • Monitor classroom delivery and student engagement, suggesting improvements when needed.

2. Teacher Training & Development

  • Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.
  • Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
  • Mentor teachers on pedagogy, lesson planning, classroom management, and child psychology.
  • Encourage continuous professional growth and collaborative teaching practices.

3. Student Development

  • Ensure holistic learning through academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular programs.
  • Introduce remedial/enrichment activities to support diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain student discipline and a safe, inclusive environment.

4. Administration & Operations

  • Manage daily operations, timetables, assessments, and academic records.
  • Ensure compliance with educational board requirements and school policies.
  • Coordinate with Principal on school improvement and quality initiatives.

5. Parent & Community Engagement

  • Organize parent-teacher meetings and maintain transparent communication
  • Build positive parent-school relationships through workshops and engagement programs.
  • Represent the school in external academic/community forums.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification:

  • Master's Degree in Education / Child Development / School Leadership (B.Ed. or M.Ed. mandatory).
  • Additional certifications in School Administration / Leadership / Teacher Training will be an advantage.

Professional Experience:

  • 10–15 years of teaching experience in reputed schools (Primary level preferred).
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience as Primary Coordinator / Headmistress / Academic Head.
  • Proven expertise in lesson planning, curriculum design, and teacher training.
  • Experience in classroom observation, academic quality monitoring, and staff mentoring.
  • Familiarity with CBSE / ICSE / IB / State Board curriculum (as per school requirement).
  • Strong background in student development programs (remedial, enrichment, co-curricular activities).
  • Salary is negotiation based on your experience and performance.
