- Functional Lead - Device Management/Energy Data Management Role Overview:The Functional Lead for Device Management/Energy Data Management is responsible for SAP IS-U DM/EDM module implementation and support, ensuring the smooth functioning of device management systems in electric utilities. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the deployment of the SAP IS-U Device Management/Energy Device Management module, with 2-3 full life cycle implementations. Prepare functional specification documents, business design documents, and test cases. Solution design, configuration, and testing for device management, including meter shop (inventory, testing, inspections), routes, consumption reads, and integration to billing and backend work management systems. Extensive experience in technical master data models and DM/EDM configuration. Experience in EDM settlement processes Lead integrated and parallel testing for batch job processing and exception management. Design and configure BI reports for device management processes. Knowledge of integration with Meter Data Management (MDM), Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Head End systems/networks is preferred. Requirements5-7 years of experience in SAP IS-U Device Management, with a minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role. SAP certification preferred. Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Ability to work across Agile development, support, and deployment landscapes. Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
