Job Summary:

The Mechanical & Electrical Lab Assistant will support laboratory operations by preparing equipment, assisting in experiments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role involves handling mechanical and electrical instruments, maintaining lab infrastructure and providing technical assistance to students or engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain Mechanical and Electrical lab equipment (Circuits, machines, tools).
  • Prepare test samples, components, and wiring for experiments.
  • Perform routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, instruments, and consumables.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper disposal of materials.
  • Document test results and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a technical or academic lab preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and lab safety.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to handle tools and equipment safely.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
