The Class of One (TCO1) is a globally recognized online school offering personalized education from Nursery to Grade 12 through CBSE, NIOS, and international curricula. With students across India and internationally, TCO1 provides flexible, high-quality education through small batch sizes, experienced teachers, and unique programmes including AI & ML Innovation, Financial Literacy, Global Virtual Tours, and Career Counselling.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Operations Head to lead and oversee end-to-end operations for our online education services. The role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong leadership to ensure smooth delivery, process optimization, and continuous improvement across functions.

The Operations Head will work closely with academic, product, technology, and support teams to drive efficiency, scalability, and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across technology, academic content delivery, and learner support functions.
  • Ensure seamless and uninterrupted delivery of online classes, programs, and associated services.
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize operational processes, SOPs, and workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams including operations executives, support staff, and coordinators.
  • Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness and drive data-backed improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and Academic teams to align operational execution with organizational goals.Identify operational risks and proactively resolve issues to maintain service quality and learner satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor relationships, external partners, and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance compliance.
  • Support leadership in strategic planning, capacity management, and operational forecasting.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Proven expertise in operations management, process optimization, and problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, online education, or digital services is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team building, performance management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment.

Eligibility & Experience

  • Bachelors degree required, masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 58 years of relevant experience, with at least 23 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing large-scale online or service-based operations will be an advantage.
