What Your Role Entails

Keep abreast of technology evolution in thermal and fluids engineering, refrigeration and Air-conditioning, energy management etc. to continuously promote innovation and validate ideas through virtual proof of concept projects.

What You'll Do:

1. Will assume total responsibility for the execution and delivery of assigned System Simulation projects using 1D simulation tools as required and in conformity with defined Project execution process flow.
2. Will exhibit complete mastery of the physics of the simulations carried out, specifically in Thermal Analysis, Flow Analysis as applied to Room Air conditioner and HVAC equipment and propose analysis-based design changes/recommendations for engineering sub-systems and components and actively contribute to Value Analysis and Value Engineering.
3. Will constantly review product evolution, coordinate with Product/Platform Managers, and participate in and promote new product development with System Simulation Support.
4. Ensure consistent customer focus, seek customer feedback, evolve, and strengthen processes to support on-time delivery, excellence of quality and consistency in execution.
5. Take the lead in technical mentorship, benchmark, and document best practices to improve productivity, consistently drive knowledge sharing and dissemination, grow domain competency.

Your success is grounded in

• Master's degree in mechanical (Thermal/Heat Transfer/Fluid Dynamics/HVAC) with reputed institutions such as IITs or NITs.
• 2-3 years of experience in system simulation using GT Suite or Dymola or similar.
• Deep understanding of numerical methods, heat transfer, thermodynamics & fluid dynamics.
• Must have skillsets on industrial applications of design, testing and validation with reference to HVAC/Refrigeration, compressors, heat exchangers etc.
• Working experience on 1D dynamic simulation software's such as Dymola (TIL-Suite), GT-suite or similar 1D tool. Knowledge of Simulink, MATLAB, Python programming is an added advantage.
• Knowledge about noise and vibration, testing standards related to HVAC/Refrigeration, virtual simulation will be an added advantage.
• Should be well verse with experimental methods, AHRI 210/240, ASHRAE 37.
• Demonstrated expertise in simulation data analysis including components modelling and running simulations and extracting meaningful insights.
• Interpreting results to inform design and engineering decisions. Presenting analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
