Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts for steel pipe products, with a focus on crash barriers for highways and railways. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales and marketing within the infrastructure industry, driving growth through strategic campaigns, market analysis, and client relationship management. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote steel pipe products, particularly crash barriers installed alongside highways and railway tracks.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in the infrastructure and safety sectors.
- Lead the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, digital content, case studies, and presentations tailored to highway and railway projects.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, social media, email campaigns, and website optimization to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as government agencies, contractors, and engineering firms involved in highway and railway infrastructure.
- Oversee trade shows, industry events, and webinars to showcase our products and network with potential clients.
- Analyze sales data and marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals, providing support for tenders, bids, and client pitches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to safety products in transportation infrastructure.
- Mentor junior marketing staff and foster a culture of innovation within the team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing and sales, specifically in selling crash barriers or similar safety infrastructure products for highways and railways.
- Proven expertise in B2B marketing within the manufacturing or construction industry, with a strong understanding of steel products and their applications.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through targeted marketing campaigns and lead generation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical product benefits to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market segmentation, competitive analysis, and ROI measurement.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in manufacturing and how they apply to steel pipe production is a plus.
