Role Overview

• As the
  Digital Application Lead
  at
  Granules
  , you will be responsible for leading the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications across multiple functions including
  HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, End-to-End Supply Chain Planning, and Legal
  .
• You will act as the bridge between IT and business functions—ensuring digital platforms are robust, secure, scalable, compliant, and enable productivity, efficiency, and business growth across the pharmaceutical value chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the digital applications roadmap aligned to Granules' business strategy closely working with CIDO
• Lead application portfolio management across business domains to ensure right technology selection, implementation, adoption, optimization, cost efficiency, and innovation.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure best-in-class solutions and services.

2. Application Management & Integration

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise application platforms (CRM, HRMS, SCM, Finance, Legal Tech).
• Oversee integration of applications to ensure seamless data flow across functions.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery frameworks for critical systems.
• Drive adoption of digital platforms and user enablement across business units.

3. Business Function Enablement

• HR
  – Implement Employee Experience Platforms, HR Analytics, Talent Management Systems.
• Sales & Marketing
  – Manage CRM platforms, Digital Marketing tools, and Analytics for sales insights.
• Finance
  – Support Integration with ERP financial systems, compliance, and reporting automation.
• Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement
  – Drive planning tools, inventory management, transportation tracking, and procurement digitization.
• Service & Customer Engagement
  – Oversee customer portals, service management, and support automation.
• Legal
  – Implement compliance and contract lifecycle management platforms.

4. Governance, Compliance & Security

• Ensure GxP, FDA, and other pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
• Enforce cybersecurity, data privacy, and application controls.
• Define KPIs to measure application performance, adoption, and ROI.

5. People & Change Leadership

• Lead a team of application SME/consultants/vendors to deliver strategic projects.
• Drive change management and stakeholder engagement to maximize adoption.
• Build a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 6–10 years of experience in
  enterprise applications management
  , preferably in
  pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries
  .
• Strong expertise in SAP integration, CRM (Salesforce/Zoho/Freshservice), HR (Peoplestrong/Darwinbox/SuccessFactors), and supply chain planning tools (Kinaxis, BlueYonder, SAP IBP, etc.).
• Proven track record in leading large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory environment (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, Data Integrity) is added advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
