We are looking for Field Engineers to support our locker & robot network. For this job, you need to become familiar with the technical aspects of installing, servicing, and maintaining our equipment at field locations. You should be an excellent problem-solver, visit multiple field sites across the city daily, deliver training to customers, enable parcel delivery into devices where site staff are unavailable, and be able to manage customer-facing problem situations when they arise.

  • Equipment Services: Provide assembly, installation, maintenance, repair, and movement of equipment at/to/from field locations and our workshops/labs facilities.
  • Monitoring: Monitor, analyze and resolve all locker technical problems and customer/site issues.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform periodic preventive maintenance routines, install upgrades, recalibrate, and make modifications to the equipment as specified.
  • SLA: Monitor and ensure rapid response to ensure client/customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements are addressed or escalate issues when appropriate, according to established procedures. Must be diligent about ensuring continuity of client/customer operations and high levels of client/customer satisfaction. Manage client/customer incidents as assigned.
  • Site Inspections: Verify client site environment meets the requirements prior to installation.
  • Business Development: Build working relationships with clients at deployed locations. Must support our business development activities which are identifying, pitching, signing up, and managing locations. Any spare time when service call loads are low will be used for business development activities.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering training preferred. Diploma / ITI holders with electronics experience and work experience in technical service of IoT devices, robots, ATM machines, Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, satellite dish company, or automated equipment and/or similar devices is preferred.
  • MANDATORY: Travel to visit sites across the city. Work days are 6 days/week which will include a rotational shift system for weekend coverage. Must have and use own 2-wheeler vehicle (travel allowance provided), and an updated Android smartphone with free SIM slot.
  • Should have good technical skills, good command of spoken & written English communication, and spoken fluency in regional language.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets/database apps.
  • High energy and enthusiasm, flexible team player who is very punctual, dependable, well organized, and very professional.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision and manage time effectively, work under deadlines, and prioritize work assignments.
