Role & responsibilities:-

  1. Departmental Leadership: Lead and manage the TG & BOP Mechanical Maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operation. Formulate and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies.

  2. Maintenance Planning and Execution: Oversee maintenance schedules and timely execution of annual overhauls,shutdowns, and emergency maintenance.Ensure equipment health and availability through systematic inspections, diagnostics, and timely interventions.

  3. Performance Optimization: Monitor KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, Availability, Reliability) and initiate corrective/preventive actions. Drive energy efficiency and reliability improvement projects.

  4. Budgeting & Resource Allocation:Prepare and control annual maintenance budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).Optimize spare parts inventory and coordinate with SCM for procurement.

  5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to EHS norms and statutory requirements.

Conduct risk assessments, audits, and safety drills; implement corrective actions for compliance gaps.

  1. Team Development & Collaboration: Mentor and develop the technical competency of maintenance personnel.Liaise with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and contractors for seamless maintenance execution.

Functional Competencies:-

Strong technical knowledge of TG and BOP mechanical systems

Expertise in vibration analysis, thermography, alignment, and RCM practices

Proficiency in SAP/CMMS for maintenance planning and reporting

Understanding of engineering drawings, technical standards, and OEM manuals

Familiarity with power plant operational dynamics and troubleshooting practices

Project management and cost control abilities for maintenance upgrades/modifications
