Job Description SummaryLeads the Project Engineering organization, which is responsible for the development and delivery of all major capital projects in assigned region / site, via the application of robust, standardized and effective project management methods aligned with global standards, ensuring that the projects deliver business value in line with Platform and Novartis Technical Operations business objectives.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities: Prepare monthly engineering reports with key KPIs (Capex, Maintenance, HSE and Quality)Support internal and external auditsImplement technical standardsImplement GOPsIf needed, create regional / site SOPs & templatesEnsure availability of  competent, high performing people and develop the talent poolImplement sharing and leveraging of best practices and expertise in project management and project controllingOwn the Training Curriculum for own Job ProfileDevelop contractual strategy and framework to manage vendors / contractors and corresponding contracts in assigned region / siteSelect vendor / contractorEstablish vendor / contractor contractEstablish and lead project management teamsPrepare Project Charter, Business Case and CARDevelop Project Sourcing StrategyEstablish project governance in assigned region / sitesPlan and organize Project ResourcePerform project reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review (TQR), constructability, sustainability, HSE)Execute Project Stage Gate keeping and Project Definition Level Rating (PDRI)Manage investment budget & project portfolio for region / siteLead investment review committees for assigned region / sitesDevelop and maintain project execution / management standardsEssential Requirements: 15+ years of Capital Portfolio and Major Project Management experience, including > 5 years' experience in PharmaOutstanding Project Management and excellent technical knowledge with demonstrated ability to deliver safe, effective and fully compliant projects5+ years of demonstrated leadership abilities, leading both internal and external team membersBroad project controlling knowledgeExcellent knowledge of key non-technical business processes; Strategy, HR, FinanceAdvanced HSE and GxP / QA knowledgeDesirable Requirement: Degree in engineering  or equivalentSkills DesiredAutomation, Capital Expenditure, Change Management, Classification Systems, Critical Thinking, Efficiency, Flexibility, General Hse Knowledge  , Including Gdp, Knowledge Of Gmp, Manufacturing Process (Production), Operations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Support Services
