Description

Experience:

  1. Minimum 12-15 years' experience on construction site.
  2. Experience in executing various big Projects of approx acres' land is needed.
  3. Knowledge of working with Project Management Consultants with at least 5 years' experience preferred.
  4. Well conversant with design and construction aspect of Civil, Structural and Architectural.
  5. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Computerised reporting and MS Office package is must. 
  6. Needs an experience in leading the Project Management Team through civil construction, MEP and fit-out Projects and coordinating with all the Consultants. 
  7. Knowledge of local language written and spoken mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION – PROJECT MANAGER  (Planning and Execution) 

  1. Should plan and schedule all the project activities as per the timelines given by PIMO.
  2. Assist PIMO in ensuring timely work execution on site. 
  3. Liaison with Architects, Consultants and Contractors to have smooth functioning at site. 
  4. Conduct Project Review and Design Review meetings on-line and if required in office.
  5. Prepare Agenda and then minutes of the meeting and circulate to all.
  6. Maintain all the desired records at site like inventory management, RIF register, drawing register, non-compliance register, etc. 
  7. Guide the team of Engineers to plan and deliver the targets, which were mutually agreed upon.
  8. Groom the Junior Engineers in managing the site.
  9. Identify slippages/delays and initiate corrective action. 
  10. Whenever required, invite quotes from local vendors to carry out comparison and submit it to PIMO for further process. 
  11. Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental policies. 
  12. Prepare all MIS reports from time to time to facilitate decision making by PIMO.
  13. Ensure minimum wastage of material at site and suggest value engineering to reduce the cost wherever required. 
  14. Ensure that the assigned work is completed as per the schedule by coordinating amongst the team members, contractors and consultants. 
  15. Any other work assigned by PIMO from time to time.
