As a Lead Generation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the early stages of the sales pipeline by identifying potential prospects, initiating meaningful conversations, and ensuring that qualified leads are seamlessly passed to the sales team. This role requires creativity, confidence, and strong communication skills to engage prospects effectively and highlight the value of the organisation's offerings. You will contribute to the growth of the business by developing a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and the positioning of cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Identification: Proactively research, source, and identify potential clients across relevant industries using online platforms, networking, and market insights.
  • Prospect Engagement: Initiate conversations with potential clients, understand their challenges, and introduce suitable solutions that align with their needs.
  • Qualification of Leads: Assess incoming leads for suitability based on interest, need, budget, and readiness to engage further with the sales team.
  • CRM Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all lead interactions, follow-ups, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Stay informed about industry developments, competitor offerings, and shifting customer demands to refine outreach strategies.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure qualified leads are smoothly handed off for further engagement.
  • Creative Outreach: Experiment with new communication styles, messaging formats, and engagement tactics to spark interest and improve response rates.
  • Reporting & Insights: Provide regular reports outlining lead progress, achievements, and areas for improvement in the outreach process.
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • You have completed an MBA in Sales/Marketing or an equivalent programme (fresh graduates are welcome).
  • You possess a basic understanding of cybersecurity services, or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport from the first conversation.
  • You are creative, confident, and enjoy coming up with innovative ideas to initiate discussions with new prospects.
  • You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • You have a curious and proactive mindset, eager to adapt in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking systems is an added advantage.
