Requirement :

Position : Accountant
Experience : 8 – 10 Yrs.
Job Type : Onsite (Full Time)
Education : Bachelor's degree from a Reputed University.
Salary : As Per Company Standards
Location : Mumbai (Jogeshwari West)
Working Time       : Monday to Friday - 11:30 to 9:30 PM || Saturday 1:30pm to 7:30pm (To be aligned with East African and UK working hours)
Working Days       : 6 Days

Responsibilities:

Verifying of supplier invoices for accuracy based on conditions of calculation, using the company's ERP software (invoices involve a relatively high level of complexity) and are often large, so complete accuracy is a necessity.

Preparation of buyer invoices based on contractual and other values that may include penalties and other deductions as stipulated.

Real-time pricing of metals between international brokers and clients, including communication and booking on both ends.

Daily bank reconciliations.

Bookkeeping entries on ERP software (Oracle) daily.

Ensuring ad-hoc journal and bank ledger entries that are not automatically booked via the company's ERP system are done so correctly.

Paying other invoices, and expenses and ensuring monthly statements sent by creditors are verified, booked, and paid on a timely basis.

 Previous job experience to have involved a high level of accounting/invoicing/arithmetic skills.

Well versed in general IT, MS Office, and Tally - no other technical knowledge required – ERP training given on the job.

Fast typing skills and highly efficient multi-tasking abilities.

Good verbal and written English skills are mandatory.

Asian language (Hindi and/or Gujarati) fluency.

Ability to adapt to different cultures (Central African counterparties on one end, blue chip Western customers on the other end).
