Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate cost estimates and techno-commercial offers for Low Voltage (LV) electrical panels, ensuring competitiveness, profitability, and compliance with client and industry standards.

Role & responsibilities

  • Study tender documents, technical specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for LV Panels (PCC, MCC, APFC, PDB, Control Panels, etc.).
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and compliance statements.
  • Identify material requirements and select appropriate switchgear, busbars, and accessories as per client needs.
  • Coordinate with the design, purchase, and production teams for technical clarifications and costing inputs.
  • Optimize cost through accurate component selection and value engineering.
  • Maintain and update vendor price lists and costing database.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team during client discussions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and knowledge of LV switchgear and electrical standards.
  • 2 to 8 years of experience in estimation, costing, or proposal preparation for LV electrical panels in a reputed manufacturing company.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination ability.
  • Commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
