Title and Summary
Associate Specialist, HR ServicesOverview
Join our HR Services team and help deliver a smooth onboarding experience for new hires across EMEA and APAC. You'll support background check and work authorization processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy while providing excellent service to candidates and internal partners.
Role Responsibilities
- Process daily background check transactions, review candidate records, and update adjudication statuses in HR systems.
- Monitor case progress, follow up on pending actions, and escalate complex cases to senior team members.
- File and track work authorization documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Respond to routine inquiries from candidates and internal stakeholders regarding background checks and work authorization.
- Maintain accurate records to support audit readiness and compliance.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Services to ensure timely onboarding and issue resolution.

Key Performance Indicators
- Transaction Processing Time: Average time to complete background check and work authorization tasks.
- Accuracy Rate: Percentage of transactions completed without errors or rework.
- Compliance Rate: Percentage of work authorization filings completed per policy and regulations.
- Inquiry Response Time: Average time to respond to candidate and stakeholder inquiries.
- Escalation Timeliness: Prompt escalation of complex cases to senior team members.
- Data Accuracy: Accuracy of updates in HR systems and trackers.
All About You
- Understanding of HR operations, preferably with exposure to onboarding or compliance background check and work authorization) processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Clear written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently and consistently.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HR systems is a plus.
- A mindset focused on service, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
