Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Trichurapalli division of Southern Railway within worksite located Thiruvaror and Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu for a number of Sector Experts.
• The Sector Expert will be responsible for supervision of ongoing Thiruvaroor - Karaikudi
  Railway Electrification project on Thiruchirapulli division of Southern Railway
  .
• Responsibilities include supervision and coordination for ongoing project for 25 KV Overhead Electrification (OHE), Power Supply Installations (PSI) and General Electrical works.
• Current requirement are Sector Expert/OHE-2,
  Sector Expert/PSI-2, Sector Expert/General-2. How these numbers may go up.
• Collaborating with team members to monitor day to day progress
• Reporting to Resident Engineer for daily job requirements and Quality Control Manager for quality aspects.
• Apart from ongoing work at site located in
  in Trichurapalli division, they may be deployed in any other division of Southern Railway.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Electrical Engg with minimum experience of 3 years or Diploma in Electrical Engg with minimum experience 5 years in execution of railway/road infrastructure projects

OR

• At least 5 years' experience in SE/SSE or equivalent Grade and above of [Electrical department or of Railways and/or as AM and above in Electrical] Electrical department in RITES/ IRCON/RVNL or equivalent grade in Konkan Railway/MRVC/DFCCIL/ any JVs or SPVs with Ministry of Railways, any Metro Rail Corporation either individually or combined.

• Working knowledge of English essential

• To interact with local team, knowledge of Tamil language desirable.

• This is a project based requirement however, and project duration is 18 months, deserving candidates are retained by the company to work on other ongoing and future project all over India.
