We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Automation Test Engineer
with strong expertise in Java programming, Selenium (UI Automation), API Testing (Rest Assured), and Performance Testing (Locust framework). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in test automation frameworks, coding best practices, and performance analysis, with the ability to design, execute, and maintain scalable automation solutions.

Experience: 6 to 9 years

Location: Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for UI (Selenium with Java) and API (Rest Assured).

 Implement Page Object Model (POM) for code reusability, maintainability, and

scalability.

 Create and manage custom exception handling classes for efficient error management.

 Execute automated test cases using TestNG, including grouping, prioritization,

reporting, and parallel execution.

 Perform API testing using Rest Assured, including validation of HTTP methods, response codes, headers, payloads, and schema.

 Conduct performance testing using Locust framework, simulating load conditions,

monitoring system behavior, and analyzing results.

 Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps) to deliver high-quality releases.

 Debug, troubleshoot, and provide root-cause analysis for test failures.

 Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in automation and performance testing.

 Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and testing practices.

Required Skills & Experience

 6 – 9 years of experience in QA Automation with strong focus on Java programming.

 Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver and solid understanding of

automation framework design.

 Strong knowledge of element locators (ID, Name, CSS, XPath) for dynamic web elements.

 Expertise in TestNG framework for execution and reporting.

 Solid understanding of API testing concepts using Rest Assured (HTTP methods, status codes, headers, query params, payload validation).

 Experience in parallel test execution.

 Practical knowledge of performance testing using Locust framework (load simulation, bottleneck identification, performance analysis).

 Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

 Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

 Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) for test integration.

 Exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms.

 Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes in testing environments.
