Job Description: Workers' Compensation Statistical Analyst

The Workers' Compensation Statistical Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely preparation and submission of unit statistical reports to various rating bureaus in compliance with statutory guidelines. This includes gathering and verifying data from internal systems and rating bureau websites, resolving edits, and ensuring data quality standards are met to avoid fines and penalties. The role involves verifying experience mods, audited payroll data, and class codes, addressing inquiries from rating bureaus, and maintaining compliance with reporting rules and workflows. Analysts are expected to manage production volumes, maintain accurate documentation, and update internal databases and records for recurring reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and submit unit statistical reports for Workers' Compensation policies across multiple states and rating bureaus.
  • Gather and compare data from internal systems (e.g., Unit Stat System, WCS, Claims Inquiry) and rating bureau websites.
  • Verify and update experience mods, payroll data, and class codes before submission.
  • Resolve edits and respond to inquiries or criticisms from rating bureaus to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and adheres to company procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Meet monthly production targets and maintain high data quality standards.
  • Communicate with internal teams (e.g., Legal and Compliance, Premium Audit) as needed.

Qualifications:

B.Com with strong practical experience in reporting for more than 6 years
