Job Summary

  • We are seeking an organized IT Infrastructure coordinator to serve as a liaison between the Sabre DevOps and development teams and the central IT teams. The role focuses on managing storage, networking, and hardware coordination, and tracking server delivery stages from initial order to production readiness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison and Coordination:
  • Act as the primary contact between Sabre's teams and central IT for VMware and Dell bare metal servers.
  • Coordinate activities related to NFS storage on SAN/NAS, and load balancers like F5 and Nginx.
  • Server Delivery Tracking:
  • Track the delivery stages of servers (bare-metal and VMs) from order to production readiness.
  • Ensure timely updates and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain documentation of server orders and delivery stages.
  • Prepare regular status reports for management.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Troubleshoot storage, networking, and hardware issues in collaboration with central IT.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and track resolutions.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Evaluate and improve server delivery and infrastructure coordination processes.

  • Strategy

  • Awareness and understanding of the SABRE hardware strategy to migrate onto SRAC from physicals.

  • Business

  • Treat hardware migrations required by business sponsored projects with the necessary urgency and diligence.

  • Processes

  • Adhere to all the banks internal processes.

  • People & Talent

  • Attend all the necessary training courses required.

  • Risk Management

  • Make sure all obsolescence and security risks are documented and dealt with as soon as possible.

  • Governance

  • Make sure all release management comes under the necessary governance.

Key stakeholders

  • Lead of SABRE Development as well as PMs that look after key projects that are dependent on hardware and software delivery required by this role, e.g SABRE, FMRP, TWD, Phoenix etc.
