Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Techno-Functional ERP Developer at Outpost Work in Kolkata. The role involves day-to-day tasks focused on analysing business processes, conducting functional testing, and integrating various systems to ensure efficient operations and software functionality.

Development and Customization:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain ERP Next modules based on business requirements.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code primarily using Python.
  • Integrate third-party systems and services with ERP Next.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERP Next issues.
  • Ensure the ERP Next system is updated with the latest features and security patches.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them within ERP Next.
  • Optimize the performance of ERP Next applications and databases.
  • Implement best practices for ERP Next deployment, security, and performance tuning.
  • Document technical specifications and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, accounting, inventory, asset modules is a big plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ERP Next development.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with a strong understanding of its application in ERP systems.
  • Experience with various ERP Next modules (such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Project Management).
  • Strong knowledge of web frameworks (like Flask or Django) and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with database management systems (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
