Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
Electrical Quality Engineer
to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our control panels throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with electrical inspection, testing, and standards relevant to control panel production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections
    for electrical control panels.
  • Verify
    wiring, layout, assembly
    , and components against electrical drawings, SLDs, and customer specifications.
  • Perform
    electrical testing
    : continuity check, IR test, high-voltage test, functional testing, PLC panel testing, etc.
  • Identify and document
    non-conformities
    , perform
    root-cause analysis
    , and implement
    corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
    .
  • Ensure adherence to
    IEC, IS, and internal quality standards
    for control panel manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with the
    design, production, and procurement teams
    to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain detailed quality documentation: inspection reports, calibration logs, test certificates, checklists, and QMS records.
  • Support
    internal audits
    , vendor evaluations, and customer inspections.
  • Drive
    continuous improvement
    in process reliability, product quality, and panel testing methods.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in
    Electrical Engineering
    or related field.
  • 2–5 years
    of experience in
    control panel manufacturing quality
    (junior roles can consider freshers).
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
  • Switchgear components (MCBs, MCCBs, relays, contactors, etc.)
  • PLC/automation panel basics (preferred)
  • Knowledge of quality tools:
    5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, CAPA
    , etc.
  • Familiarity with
    ISO 9001
    or similar quality systems.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in
    LT/HT panels, PLC panels, MCC panels, APFC panels
    , or custom industrial control panels.
