Role and Responsibilities:-

  1. Knowledge of drawing tools like EPLAN, Electric P8 & AutoCAD.
  2. Able to specify components for use in control cabinets and components into power circuits and communication networks including field materials.
  3. Able to integrate and specify Allen Bradley PLC Hardware, Ethernet IP, & ASI networks.
  4. Detailed Electrical drawings such as Power calculation, cable calculation & tray system BOM, Power distribution.
  5. Solve Electrical Design Problems and develop solutions based on product requirements and organizational standards.
  6. Knowledge of electrical & electronics (transformers, motors, switch gears, logic gates, transistors, diodes, relays, panel wiring/designing & PLC)
  7. Understanding of International standards like UL, IEC etc.
  8. Knowledge of safety standards like CE, NFPA etc.
  9. Knowledge of concepts and requirements of process automation, factory automation and plant automation
  10. Interact with stake holders, team members and cross functional teams across the world and develop a professional relationship therein.
  11. Able to work in team, takes ownership, has very high drive to win and eager to learn.
  12. Good computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point.
  13. Review of mechanical drawing (P&ID) preparation of hardware index.
  14. List out the input &output devices for cycle operation
  15. Designing of control panel.
  16. Flowchart development for programming.
  17. PLC programming as per operational cycle of machine.
  18. Standardization of PLC program as per devices & Machine.
  19. HMI screen development.
  20. Implementation of control panels &VFD parameters settings as per applications.
  21. Handel project independently for mechanical & electrical commissioning.
  22. Training given to client to understand key points of machine-like auto/manual operations, interlocks of the system, maintenance & safety.
  23. Testing &calibration of automation devices like weighing indicator, photo sensor, electronics controller, solenoid, counters.
  24. Planning of control activities and schedule for production.

Preferred Skills: -

  • Reviews customer requirements including customer specifications, Statements of Work, and interface drawings in order to ensure compliance with contract
  • Supports preparation and updates to task lists
  • Tracks schedules and budgets on assigned programs
  • Reviews and approves drawings
  • Interfaces with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues
  • Creates technical proposals, technical materials, procurement specifications and electrical analyses
  • Creates electrical long leads and Cost Schedule Impact Logs (CSILs.)
  • Submits Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs, RFWs)
  • Interfaces with customers and contracts to resolve customer related issues
  • Broad basis of knowledge for electrical facilities design (power distribution, controls, NEC, IT/Comm, cabling, Air Conditions Systems
  • Comfort and ability to use all types of electronic test equipment
  • Knowledge about codes that pertain to hazardous locations, motors, cables.
  • Must have experience in Team Handling.
