Overview

Responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of Java-based software systems and applications. This role involves overseeing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality code, and aligning technical solutions with business objectives. The Technical Lead will guide a team of developers, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable products.

Responsibilities

  • Requirements:
  • Must have a strong foundation in Java platform and computer science fundamentals.
  • Strong technical background with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented Agile scrum environment.
  • Experience in designing and documenting software components that meet industry and organizational standards.
  • Ability to develop high-quality software components based on technical requirements and detailed designs.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in core web development technologies, including Java 8, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or similar.
  • Expertise in Linux environments, with hands-on experience in shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
  • Ability to research technical solutions and recommend options with clear reasoning.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including scoping, planning, conception, design, implementation, deployment and maintenance.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines is a must.
  • Must have a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
