DATAMARK, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team. This role is essential in supporting daily HR operations and ensuring a smooth and efficient HR process. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks related to the management of employees and HR records.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining employee files, assisting with recruitment efforts, handling employee inquiries, and supporting various HR projects. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in nurturing a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Manage employee records and ensure that all HR documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials.
- Help organize employee training sessions and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR administrative role.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is preferred.
