Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Professional based in Vadodara. The Purchase Professional will manage procurement activities, negotiate contracts with suppliers, and ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities will also include monitoring supplier performance, coordinating with various teams to forecast procurement needs, and maintaining proper records of purchase orders and inventory.

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation, procurement, and vendor management skills
  • Experience in supply chain management and purchase order processing
  • Knowledge of materials, especially electrical steel and related components, is preferred
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and related software tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and ensure timely procurement under deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in the manufacturing or transformer industry is an added advantage
