Qualification: BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering Experience:

Manufacturing / Engineering / Auto Components (as applicable)

Job Summery

To manage and execute New Product Development (NPD) activities from concept to production, ensuring timely development, cost optimization, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strong understanding of APQP and PPAP requirements

· Coordinate end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) activities.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, and feasibility studies

· Prepare feasibility reports, cost estimations, and timelines.

· Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase teams.

· Develop process flow, control plans, PFMEA, and work instructions.

· Plan and execute prototype development, trials, and validations.

· Monitor tooling development, trial runs, and process capability.

· Address design, process, and quality issues during development stages.

· Ensure on-time sample submission and customer approvals.

· Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.

· Maintain NPD documentation and project tracking reports.

· Change management and engineering change control (ECN/ECR)

· Customer communication and program reviews ( Timeline )

Education Qualification:

· BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineering

Experience:

· 3–8 years' experience in NPD / Product Development

· Handling of customer audits, run-at-rate, and Program and safe launch readiness.

· Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes – Forging, Machining, Heat treatment, Plating ,Gear manufacturing.

Skills & Competencies:

· Knowledge of NPD lifecycle

· Understanding of drawings & GD&T

· APQP, PPAP, PFMEA knowledge (preferred)

· Strong coordination & project management skills

· Costing & feasibility analysis

· Problem-solving and analytical skills

· Good communication & documentation skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹700,000.00 per year
