Role description

The Senior AWS Consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting scalable applications hosted on AWS. This role involves managing and maintaining Unix-based environments (preferably SUSE and Red Hat) and ensuring high performance, security, and compliance across deployments. Experience in GxP-compliant environments will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and resilient AWS architectures for enterprise applications.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Unix servers (SUSE and Red Hat preferred) as the foundation for AWS infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for security, automation, and cost optimization within AWS.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure smooth delivery and governance.
  • Support infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across environments.
  • Ensure adherence to GxP, ITIL, and organizational compliance standards (where applicable).
Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
  • Hands-on expertise with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux administration, particularly SUSE and Red Hat.
  • Experience in automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CLI.
  • Familiarity with GxP-compliant environments will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
