Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Biryani Master who can prepare authentic, flavorful biryanis and related dishes with consistency. The ideal candidate should have expertise in traditional cooking methods, strong knowledge of spices, and the ability to maintain quality, hygiene, and taste standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare authentic biryani (mutton, chicken, egg, and veg) with consistency in taste and aroma.
  • Plan, organize, and execute daily cooking operations.
  • Select, clean, and cut meat, chicken, and vegetables according to recipe requirements.
  • Ensure the proper marination process with correct spice blends and timing.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
  • Monitor inventory of rice, meat, spices, and kitchen supplies; inform management of requirements.
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff/helpers when necessary.
  • Ensure portion control and minimize food wastage.
  • Experiment and introduce new varieties of biryani or side dishes while maintaining traditional taste.
  • Work with management to maintain customer satisfaction and consistent quality.
  • Follow food safety regulations and hotel policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Biryani Master / Head Cook specializing in biryani.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian spices, rice types, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations independently.
  • Good time management skills to handle bulk orders.
  • Teamwork, discipline, and passion for authentic cooking.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹80,000.00 per month
