Roles and Responsibilities

As a Promotion Executive (Off Trade), you will play a vital role in enhancing brand

visibility, driving consumer awareness, and supporting sales growth through effective in-store

and event-based promotions. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Brand Promotion & Visibility

  2. Plan, organize, and execute promotional activities at off-trade outlets including retail

liquor stores, and partner outlets.

  • Ensure all brand promotional materials (banners, standees, posters, and POS items)

are displayed accurately and attractively at designated points of sale.

  • Conduct consumer engagement activities such as tastings, product trials, and feedback

sessions to encourage brand awareness and product adoption.

  • Maintain uniformity and consistency in branding elements across outlets in line with

company guidelines.

  1. Retail & Partner Relationship Management

  2. Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with retailers and store staff to

ensure brand preference and product visibility.

  • Coordinate with store managers to secure premium shelf placement and attractive

display spaces.

  • Train retail staff on product knowledge, brand story, and promotional offers to

enhance customer recommendation.

  • Address any store-level concerns, feedback, or operational challenges promptly and

effectively.

  1. Promotion Planning & Execution

  2. Assist in planning local promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing

team.

  • Execute in-store activations, seasonal promotions, and product launch events as per

company schedule.

  • Monitor competitor activities and report on ongoing promotional trends in the market.
  • Ensure high-quality execution and adherence to timelines and budgets for each

assigned promotion.

4. Sales Support & Target Achievement

  • Support the sales team in meeting monthly and quarterly targets by boosting product

visibility and demand through in-store engagement.

  • Track outlet-wise sales performance and communicate promotional effectiveness.

  • Recommend new outlets or retail opportunities for expansion based on on-ground

insights and customer behaviour.

  • Collect, analyse, and report customer and retailer feedback on pricing, availability,

and promotional effectiveness.

  1. Reporting & Documentation

  2. Maintain accurate records of daily outlet visits, promotional activities, product

samples distributed, and customer feedback.

  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the Marketing and

Promotions Manager.

  • Share photographs, event summaries, and metrics on visibility improvements and

customer engagement outcomes.

  1. Market Intelligence & Feedback

  2. Regularly monitor market trends, competitor visibility, and consumer preferences to

guide strategic promotional decisions.

  • Provide actionable feedback to the marketing team on creative concepts,

merchandising materials, and field challenges.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize promotional effectiveness through innovative

engagement ideas.
