Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) with strong research experience in controlled release systems, biomaterials, based delivery platforms for applications in pharmaceuticals or agrochemicals.

The candidate will work on the development, characterisation, and evaluation of novel biomaterial-based delivery systems aimed at achieving targeted, sustained, and environmentally friendly release profiles.

Responsibilities

Design, synthesise, and optimise biopolymer/biomaterial-based delivery systems for drugs.

Develop nano/microparticles, hydrogels, coatings, or encapsulation matrices for controlled and stimuli-responsive release.

Conduct physicochemical characterisation (FTIR, SEM, TEM, DSC, TGA, XRD, rheology, etc.).

Study drug/agrochemical release kinetics, stability, biodegradation, and interaction with biological or agricultural environments.

Design, synthesise, and optimise biopolymer/biomaterial-based agrochemicals (pesticides/fungicides/ fertilisers).

Develop nano/microparticles, hydrogels, coatings, or encapsulation matrices for controlled and stimuli-responsive release.

Conduct physicochemical characterisation (FTIR, SEM, TEM, DSC, TGA, XRD, rheology, etc.).

Perform in vitro, and when applicable, in vivo or soil/plant-based evaluations of the developed systems.

Analyze data, prepare research reports, and publish findings in high-impact journals.

Assist in mentoring Undergraduate students in the lab/classes and also assisting or designing experiments for Phd scholars (if required).
