Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Management:Drafting, reviewing, and vetting various legal documents such as loan agreements, mortgage deeds, lease agreements, and property development agreements to ensure legal accuracy and compliance.
  • Due Diligence:Conducting due diligence on properties and borrowers for loan origination and acquisitions to identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensuring that all LAP-related transactions and operations comply with relevant financial laws, banking regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Legal Advisory:Providing legal advice and opinions to business and lending teams on strategies, procedures, and issues related to LAP products and projects.
  • Risk Management:Implementing measures to prevent potential litigation by creating robust and legally sound agreements and processes.
  • Team Leadership:Guiding and mentoring a team of legal professionals, ensuring timely and high-quality legal support across various divisions.
  • Transaction Structuring:Advising on the legal structuring of investments, including negotiating investor rights and exit options for real estate projects and other financial ventures.
