Summary of the role
Finance Transformation Product Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering digital finance products that drive transformation across the finance function. This role bridges finance expertise with product management to create scalable, user-centric solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and decision-making. This role also requires expertise in building digital solution and analytics
Required Qualifications
- 1214+ years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 57 years in capability Building, Project leadership and transformation
- Proven track record of leading Digital transformation in finance
- Strong understanding of finance operations and digital technologies
- Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A), process optimization, and understanding of FP&A platforms like (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, CA
- Certification in finance modelling is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Capability Development:
- Design & implement a roadmap for building an asset tailored to finance transformation
- Develop training programs and knowledge-sharing platforms to support continuous learning.
- Technology Enablement:
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to embed digital tools (e.g.,Cloud based ERP, RPA
- Support the adoption of advanced analytics, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools
- Change Management:
- Drive cultural change by promoting digital-first mindsets and agile ways of working.
- Act as a change champion, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with senior leadership both internal and external to align capability-building efforts with strategic goals.
- Engage with external vendors, consultants, and training providers to bring in best practices.
- Performance Measurement:
- Define KPIs to measure the impact of digitisation initiatives on finance performance.
- Monitor progress and continuously refine capability-building strategies.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to demonstrate product capabilities to Client, engagement directors.
- Should have a forward-thinking ideology for asset development that encompasses finance transformation leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and cloud-based platforms."
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with finance, business units, IT, and executive leadership.
- Experience in responding to RFPs, and supporting go-to-market strategies for FP&A analytics offerings
Product Capability Lead- R2R
Summary of the role
A Finance Product Capability Lead for Record to Report (RTR) will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of financial processes, systems, and analytics capabilities within the RTR function. This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, coupled with experience in leading teams and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging analytics to enhance financial reporting, drive efficiency, and improve decision-making within the RTR space.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in R2R, finance operations, or product ownership roles.
- Proven expertise in Analytics, AI/ML, and digital finance solutions, ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle) and finance transformation projects.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP acceptable).
- Strong understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Hands-on experience with financial close automation tools like BlackLine or Trintech.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, product lifecycle, and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Certification in Business Analytics or analytics tools like Power BI is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Capability Development:
- Develop and maintain reusable assets, frameworks, and accelerators for common R2R analytics use cases.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in finance analytics, AI, and automation to continuously enhance solution offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, delivery, sales) to craft solution proposals and respond to RFPs.
- Technology Enablement
- Leverage cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to enable scalable solutions.
- Integrate ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) with R2R automation platforms (BlackLine, Trintech, Cadency).
- Drive adoption of AI/ML technologies for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation.
- Change Management
- Lead change initiatives to embed analytics into R2R processes and decision-making.
- Develop change strategies that align with business goals and user adoption.
- Partner with finance and IT teams to ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption during implementation.
- Drive change management and user adoption through training and communication strategies.
- Stakeholder Management
- Engage with senior finance leaders including CFOs, Controllers, and Shared Services heads.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating analytics into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business priorities and client expectations.
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT, and solution vendors.
- Performance Measurement
- Define and track KPIs to measure the impact of R2R analytics initiatives.
- Monitor solution effectiveness in terms of accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and cost-efficiency.
- Continuously refine models and dashboards based on performance feedback and evolving business needs.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of R2R product capabilities across global finance operations.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the R2R domain through automation, AI, and data analytics.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders (Finance, IT, GBS, Compliance) to define and execute the R2R roadmap.
- Leadership & Communication:
