Senior Education Counsellor Overseas Study Programs (Sales &

Counselling Role)

Location: Bangalore / Karnataka (Full-time, Onsite)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic, target-oriented Senior Education Counsellor with strong experience in

overseas education consulting and a proven ability to convert leads into successful student enrolments.

This is as much a sales and business-development role as it is an in-house counselling position. The ideal

candidate should be equally comfortable engaging students in one-on-one sessions and representing the

company in universities, colleges, and institutional partnerships across Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct personalized counselling sessions for students seeking admission to Australia, Canada, UK,

Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, and Dubai.

  • Generate and convert leads through walk-ins, digital enquiries, outreach visits, and referral networks.
  • Represent the company in university presentations, campus drives, education fairs, and partner

meetings to build visibility and strengthen relationships.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with universities, colleges, and placement coordinators to drive

student engagement and referrals.

  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process — profile assessment, course selection, application

submission, offer follow-up, and visa documentation.

  • Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to achieve monthly and intake-based conversion

targets.

  • Maintain accurate student and partner records in CRM systems, tracking all leads and follow-ups

diligently.

  • Stay updated on international education trends, scholarship options, and visa policies to ensure accurate

guidance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in the overseas education or study-abroad industry, preferably in a

sales-oriented counselling role.

  • Strong understanding of university admissions and visa procedures for key study destinations.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate business, achieve targets, and build institutional partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Kannada or Hindi is an advantage.
  • Graduate degree required (Master's preferred).
