Position: Aesthetic Counsellor

Department: Sales / Client Relations

Location : T Nagar

Reports To : Clinic Manager / Centre Head

Role Overview

The Aesthetic Counsellor is responsible for guiding clients through their aesthetic journey by providing expert consultation, building trust, recommending suitable treatments, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. This role combines sales, communication, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Consultation & Assessment

• Conduct detailed consultations to understand client concerns, expectations, and medical history.
• Educate clients on available aesthetic and cosmetic procedures (e.g., lasers, facials, chemical peels, hair removal, body shaping, injectables—depending on clinic offerings).
• Recommend appropriate treatment plans based on skin type, goals, and safety considerations.

2. Sales & Conversion

• Explain treatment benefits, pricing, packages, and pre/post care instructions.
• Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets through effective counselling.
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant services and packages.

3. Client Experience & Relationship Building

• Ensure a warm, professional, and personalized client experience.
• Follow up with clients post-consultation and post-procedure for satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat visits and referrals.

4. Coordination & Documentation

• Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
• Coordinate with dermatologists, therapists, and clinic staff for smooth service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to clinic protocols, safety, and hygiene standards.

5. Operational Support

• Participate in promotional events, workshops, and in-clinic marketing activities.
• Provide inputs to management on client trends, feedback, and service improvement opportunities.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong persuasion and consultation abilities
• Presentable, customer-focused, and empathetic attitude
• Knowledge of skincare, dermatology basics, and aesthetic treatments (training can be provided)
• Target-oriented with strong follow-up discipline
• Ability to handle clients professionally and confidently

Qualifications

• Graduation in any field (Beauty, Cosmetology, or Life Sciences preferred)
• 1–5 years of experience in aesthetic counselling, salon/spa consulting, dermatology clinic, or wellness industry
• Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered (based on requirement)

Work Environment

• Clinic-based role
• Weekends working; weekly off on weekdays
• Attractive incentives based on sales performance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
