Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement company-wide health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, Factory Act, IS codes).
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace.
Identify potential hazards and develop corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Organize and conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
Maintain records of safety-related incidents, audits, and inspections.
Coordinate with external agencies for safety certifications and audits.
Promote a strong safety culture through ongoing engagement and communication.
Supervise a team of safety officers and ensure consistent safety implementation across departments.
Monitor use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and work permits.
Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure their compliance with site safety standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering/ Bsc Science
Diploma in Industrial Safety/ ADIS/ PDIS or NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
Minimum 7 years of experience in safety management.
In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-risk environment.
Proficient in MS Office and safety management software/tools.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹50, ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
