**About the role**: We are looking for a reliable Corporate HSE Manager to ensure everyone in the company complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace. As a safety manager you must have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards. You will also be able to discover opportunities for improving conditions and execute various safety programs. The ability to communicate guidelines to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential. The goal is to ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Safety Programs**: Plan and run safety programs for the workplace.
- **Site Checks**: Monitor safety on job sites, including workers, equipment, and materials.
- **Inspections**: Perform audits and inspections to ensure safety rules are followed.
- **Guidance**: Advise project managers on health and safety issues and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.
- **Injury Reports**: Review and analyze past injury reports.
- **Accident Management**: Handle and lead investigations into accidents and injuries.
- **Regulation Updates**: Research changes in environmental rules to ensure compliance.
- **Training**: Train employees to avoid accidents and conduct safety awareness sessions.
- **Safety Issues**: Identify safety problems, suggest solutions, and make recommendations.
- **Policy Adherence**: Ensure employees follow company policies and safety practices.
- **Incident Management**: Work with management on injury and incident investigations.
- **Risk Assessment**: Review safety practices and ensure they meet legal requirements.
- **Compliance**: Ensure employees follow safety laws and policies.
- **Equipment Safety**: Oversee equipment inspections and maintenance.
- **Onboarding**: Implement safety-focused training for new employees.
- **Procedure Updates**: Regularly review and update safety procedures.
- **Records**: Maintain accurate records of workers’ compensation claims.
**Requirements and Skills**:
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a safety manager.
- **Education**:BE/B.Tech -Mechanical.
- **Knowledge**: Deep understanding of safety guidelines and regulations.
- **Reporting**: Ability to create reports and develop safety policies.
- **Analysis**: Good skills in data analysis and risk assessment.
- **Organization**: Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Regulations**: Knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
- **Training Skills**: Ability to train and motivate employees.
- **System Knowledge**: Familiar with time reporting systems.
- **Project Control**: Knowledge of project control.
- **Leadership**: Strong leadership, multitasking, and conflict resolution skills.
