Role Purpose

The Business Head will provide overall strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the Group across multiple businesses and geographies. The role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, value creation, governance excellence, and cultural integration while ensuring alignment between individual business units and the Groups long-term vision.

The CEO will work closely with the Board to shape strategy, build leadership capability, strengthen the Group brand, and ensure superior performance across all operating companies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Business Growth

Define and execute the Group's long-term vision, mission, and strategic roadmap.

Drive portfolio strategy across multiple businesses (core, growth, and incubation).

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, inorganic growth, M&A, JVs, and strategic alliances.

Ensure each business unit has a clear strategy aligned with Group objectives.

Lead diversification, market expansion, and global growth initiatives.

2. Financial Performance & Value Creation

Own Group P&L, capital allocation, and balance sheet strength.

Drive revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and return on capital employed (ROCE).

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across businesses.

Ensure robust financial controls, risk management, and compliance standards.

Engage with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.

3. Operational Excellence & Governance

Provide oversight to ensure operational efficiency, scalability, and standardization across businesses.

Establish strong corporate governance, compliance, and ethical standards.

Ensure effective risk management, internal controls, and audit mechanisms.

Review and guide major capital expenditure and strategic investments.

4. Leadership & Talent Management

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Group leadership team (CXOs, Business Heads, CEOs of subsidiaries).

Drive leadership development, succession planning, and talent pipeline at senior levels.

Foster a performance-driven, values-based, and inclusive culture across the Group.

Ensure alignment of leadership behaviors with Group values and purpose.

5. Board & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary interface with the Board, ensuring transparent and timely communication.

Provide strategic insights, performance updates, and risk assessments to the Board.

Manage relationships with key stakeholders including shareholders, regulators, customers, partners, and government bodies.

Represent the Group externally as the chief ambassador and spokesperson.

6. Culture, ESG & Reputation

Champion the Group's values, culture, and code of conduct across all businesses.

Lead ESG, sustainability, and social responsibility initiatives.

Strengthen the Group's brand, reputation, and employer value proposition.

Ensure responsible business practices and long-term societal impact.
