Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate product cost sheets for precast components and construction materials.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis including raw materials, labor, overheads, logistics and manufacturing process.
  • Support strategic pricing decisions by analyzing market trends, cost structures, and margin targets.
  • Monitor and report cost variances and recommend corrective actions to improve cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to gather and validate costing data.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure accurate cost data entry and reporting in SAP.
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to prepare accurate and competitive rate quotes for customers based on product costing and market dynamics. 
  • Analyze customer requirements and project specifications to develop customized costing solutions. 
  • Ensure timely submission of cost estimates and quotations for tenders and client proposals. 
  • Support pricing negotiations by providing cost breakdowns and profitability insights. 
  • Maintain a repository of historical quotes and pricing data for reference and benchmarking.
  • Participate in tendering and bidding processes by providing cost input and pricing strategies.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of cost control measures.
Qualifications
  • BE / B. Tech Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in costing, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP is mandatory
