Job Title: Senior Manager – Operations

Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid)

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager – Operations to lead our operations team in Gurgaon. This role demands a strong leader who can drive operational excellence across HR, Finance, and Business functions, while maintaining high standards of quality and execution. The ideal candidate will be adept at stakeholder management, team oversight, and strategic planning in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Oversight

• Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals across multiple functions.
• Ensure timely and high-quality execution of operational tasks.
• Establish and maintain strong governance and quality control mechanisms 
• Establish and maintain key KPIs for the function.

Strategic Operations Management

• Partner with senior stakeholders to align operational priorities with business goals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
• Develop and present strategic insights and operational dashboards to leadership.

Resource Lifecycle Oversight

• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management of resources.
• Ensure compliance and accuracy in contract extensions, renewals, and cost centre movements.

Financial Operations & Controls

• Review and approve vendor and sub-contractor invoices.
• Oversee provision estimates and ensure financial data integrity.
• Monitor and validate lent/borrowed hours, related provisions and invoicing. 
• Validate data to ensure accuracy of invoices to customers
• Support business in solving disputed Accounts receivable collection issues, if any. 

Data, Systems & Reporting

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in project codes and cost centre data.
• Drive improvements in documentation, reporting, and system usage (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow).
• Create impactful presentations and reports for leadership reviews.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10–15 years of experience in operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
