Deputy General Manager-QA

The Deputy General Manager – QA will be responsible for leading all Quality Assurance operations in a regulated pharmaceutical formulation plant. The ideal candidate must possess strong regulatory exposure, people leadership skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance department, including QMS, documentation, validation, and compliance.

Ensure site readiness for regulatory inspections (MHRA, Russian GMP, and other international audits).

Oversee batch release, change control, deviations, CAPA, and internal audits.

Maintain compliance with cGMP, GDP, and other applicable regulatory norms.

Coordinate with manufacturing, QC, R&D, and supply chain for seamless quality operations.

Drive continual improvement initiatives for plant-wide quality enhancement.

Mentor and develop QA team members.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 15 years of pharmaceutical experience in Quality Assurance within a formulation plant.

Mandatory regulatory exposure to MHRA and Russian GMP audits/approvals.

Must have led the QA department for at least 4 years.

Strong understanding of regulatory market operations and compliance requirements.

Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
