Position: Investment Banker

Experience Required: 3–4 Years (Mandatory)

Compensation: ₹10–12 LPA + Up to ₹10 LPA Variable

Industry Preference: Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking Firms, Corporate Finance, Startup Fundraising Ecosystem

Location: Nagpur

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly smart, knowledgeable, and result-driven Investment Banker with strong expertise in fundraising, deal closures, documentation, and team leadership. The ideal candidate must come with hands-on VC/PE exposure and the ability to lead a team of 10+ members while driving end-to-end investment processes efficiently.

This is a high-impact role for someone who can influence decisions, negotiate complex deals, and deliver strong investment outcomes.

 Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10+ analysts/associates to manage and close investment deals efficiently.

Execute end-to-end deal processes including sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, and closure.

Manage investor relations and maintain strong connections with VCs, PEs, family offices, and financial institutions.

Drive fundraising efforts for clients and internal mandates with proven results.

Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment feasibility studies.

Negotiate deal terms, valuation, and structure with investors and stakeholders.

Prepare high-quality pitch decks, IMs, term sheets, and transaction documents.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth deal execution and stakeholder alignment.

Track industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape for informed decision-making.

Represent the company in investor meetings, roadshows, and high-level discussions.

 Required Skills & Competencies

Proven experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, or Investment Banking dealing with startup/enterprise transactions.

Strong capability in handling and motivating 10+ member teams.

Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.

Excellent documentation skills – IMs, pitch decks, agreements, term sheets, and compliance paperwork.

Deep understanding of the fundraising ecosystem, investor expectations, and deal-making.

Strong analytical ability with expertise in financial modeling and valuation.

High communication clarity, strategic thinking, and executive presence.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously.
