Strong skills in advanced Excel, data analysis, and database management are essential for this role. Key responsibilities

  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on operational metrics, such as average handle time (AHT), first call resolution (FCR), and service level agreement (SLA) adherence.
  • Data analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement. Provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Data management: Collect, validate, and maintain data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Dashboard creation: Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present data insights effectively.
  • System maintenance: Monitor and manage the performance of information systems, conduct regular audits, and ensure data security and backup procedures are followed.
  • Process automation: Automate repetitive reporting tasks to enhance efficiency.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with other departments like operations, quality, and training to gather information and address data-related needs.
  • Issue resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to information systems and data.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and knowledge of database management software and SQL is often required.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are crucial for interpreting data and identifying solutions.
  • Attention to detail: A high degree of accuracy is necessary to ensure the integrity of the data and reports.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is needed to convey insights and collaborate with other teams.
  • Educational background: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related area is often required.
  • Software proficiency: Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
