Technical Solution Architect/Software architect in charge of producing software standards, patterns and solutions designs in line with SG cloud platform standards to meet the requirements of various projects related to private cloud and public cloud. Part of the SG Cloud Platform architecture team working on transversal architecture topics.

Qualification/Certification:

Bachelors/Master's degree in computer /information technology disciplines

Good to have certificate of TOGAF or other Architecture framework.

Good to have Architect certification (AWS/Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

In charge of assembling, within the framework of projects, the various technical components to design optimal technology solutions.

Delivering/enhancing platform architecture by contributing into various architecture studies required delivering robust, compliant, and secured solutions to support various IaaS and PaaS offering of the platform for both private and public cloud.

Providing software architecture guidance on the strategic initiatives of the technology department.

Playing a role of referent architect for the platform services to provide ongoing software architecture support required by development teams.

Conducting architecture reviews of platform services to ensure compliance against standards, principles and architecture framework.

Working in partnership with architects from other departments within the platform as well as architects from other business units requiring support from the cloud platform.

Adhering to the architecture governance process for approval on various architecture proposals.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

At least 5+ years of experience as software or technical architect with at least 2+ Years experience in either private or public cloud technologies

Experience in end-to-end software development cycle and microservice architecture

Experience of coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Python, Java etc.)

Experience of technology stacks like Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, PostGreSQL, REST, etc.

Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture

Experience of working using agile methodology at scale

Excellent knowledge of UML and other modelling methods

Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design

Understanding of software quality assurance principles

A technical mindset with great attention to detail

Experience of delivering medium to complex resilient and highly available architecture solutions using multiple technologies and at a scale to support enterprise requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels, ability to communicate/present complex technology discussion to non-technical stakeholders.

Great team player with ability to work as an individual contributor or as well as in team with collaborative approach.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Good to have Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS/AZURE)

Knowledge of Infrastructure components of Private Cloud or Public Cloud

Knowledge of technologies used for delivering Infrastructure as code like Terraform
