Role Overview

We are hiring a DGM-Civil with 14 to 16 years of experience in civil construction, project management, and cross-functional coordination. The role is Head Office-based with responsibility to manage, monitor, and support construction activities across multiple project sites. The candidate will also provide pre-bid support, oversee execution, review schedules, and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Bidding Stage

  • Support Business Development team with inputs on resources, methodology, and L4 schedule
  • Participate in technical discussions with clients

Post-Order / Execution Stage

  • Coordinate with clients, site teams, and stakeholders on project progress
  • Plan and monitor field execution across project sites
  • Assist in budget and cash flow planning; support approvals
  • Establish site facilities and mobilize resources
  • Prepare schedules, monitor execution, and implement recovery plans
  • Ensure QA/QC, HSE compliance with support from relevant departments
  • Manage stores and material allocation at sites

Reporting & MIS

  • Collect and analyze site data for MIS reports
  • Update management on project progress, productivity, and resources

Productivity & Training

  • Establish productivity policies and improvement programs
  • Conduct training for staff and workers

Methodology

  • Ensure civil works are executed as per approved methodology and program

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Drawing review, BOQ analysis, and quantity take-offs
  • Methodology preparation and review of civil structures
  • Resource planning and mobilization
  • Contractual communication and coordination
  • Schedule preparation, review, and delay recovery (L4 to L2)
  • Cross-functional leadership and team management
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards

Qualification

  • Diploma / Bachelors in Civil Engineering

Preferred Background

  • 14 to 16 years experience in civil construction & project management
  • Worked with civil infrastructure construction / EPC companies
  • Exposure to Power, Oil & Gas, Refineries, Steel, Industrial Infrastructure sectors
  • 5+ years experience in HO-based coordination & multi-site project monitoring
