Inviting applications for the role of Master data management data stewardship

Master data management (MDM) is the core process used to manage, centralize, organize, categorize, localize, synchronize and enrich master data according to the business rules of the sales, marketing and operational strategies of your company. Master data can take the form of product, customer, supplier, location and asset information, in addition to any information sources that drive your business

The data steward is an expert to act as person to identity and resolve data issues

Responsibilities:

• Process request as per requirement (create, update, delete master data)
• Ensure accuracy of data entered
• Reach out to the customer/ appropriate department for clarification
• Research and resolve problems and discrepancies through contact with other functional teams or other master data
• Perform data profiling
• Identify data consistency issues across systems
• Prepare Data assessment report
• Review and maintain process documentation
• Reviews and processes the requests from business
• Monitor and manage DQ metrics
• Responsible for adhering to SLA's
• Co-ordinate with stakeholder to completely address requests
• Monitors data quality across systems and Peer review to perform QC
• Review and maintain process documentation
• Conduct process related reviews and approvals
• Work with requestor to resolve outstanding issues
• Data Entry to post data into SAP through DSP tool
• Monitor Data Accuracy & Report KPIs
• Coordinate with Data Entry & Content Owner Teams to identify and correct erroneous data
• Identify opportunities to enhance validations and increase number of data fields governed
• Track KPIs and build weekly reports
• Implement error correction methods
• Ad-hoc data validation/corrections
• Some fixes can be applied automatic based on severity (Ex: Incomplete batch, reference value look up)
• Accountable for the review of process metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor efficiency of data quality processes and reports to drive process improvement and control
• Collaborates with business teams to ensure timely updates and access to MDM data assets.
• Develops automated solutions and processes for data stewards to manage bulk data updates.
• Set up data consumption patterns and standards for data consumers to ensure data integrity is maintained when data is consumed through data lake or MDM API interfaces.
• Assessment of new/innovative ideas and development of business case with return on investment for new service enhancements / technology projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in science or commerce and Master Data Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Supply chain MDM Activity/stewardship around product Master
• Proficient in SQL and Alteryx
• Preferred experience in SAP, Mulesoft
• Good to have knowledge of medical device manufacture and life science Industry
• Pro-activeness and enthusiasm to take on new challenges
• Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
• Proactive planner and can work independently to manage own responsibilities
